Vintner's Comment:

White Merlot is a light fare rose-style wine made with Merlot grapes. Sometimes you use the word 'white' to indicate a wine that is derived of a red grape but that's vinified as a rose style wine. For European wines it's a sweet wine. For Americans it's a semi-sweet wine. Our White Merlot wine combines that fruitness and vibrancy of the Merlot grape, but without the tannic structure and heavy mouthfeel. The result is a pleasant, light, and fruity wine ideal for aperitifs or desserts or summer afternoons out on the deck. It's a fun and easy-going wine that works well with fruit-based salads. It's always an in demand wine in the summer. As for unusual wine pairings there's always something interesting with pairing white merlot wine with spicey foods for a dynamic contrast of tastes.
