Light-bodied with a delicate fruit bouquet of peaches and limes, our Pinot Grigio displays a dry, crisp, and fresh flavor that complements lighter style cuisine. An outstanding companion to poultry, seafood, salads, and pasta with light red sauces. Serve chilled at 45 degrees. **Net proceeds of this wine donated to autism research & awareness**
Vintner's Comment:
Pinot Grigio is probably the most popular white wine right now in the United States, perhaps even worldwide, but certainly in the US, and definitely amongst New Jersey wineries. It has a very peculiar type of skin and coloration which is somewhere between a red and a white, almost like a gray smokey color, which is how it gets its name, Grigio meaning gray. But it is vinified as a white wine because the grape skins don't add any color to the wine and so are completely removed from the fermentation process from the beginning.
Our type resembles more the Italian style and has a very delicate faint aroma: its lean, crisp, acidic, very light bouquet and offers a more peppery mouthfeel than most French versions, which are stronger and more intense. In France, it's so strong that you can even age it, like a Chardonnay!
This wine also holds a special place on our wine shelves. If you notice the label, it has the jigsaw ribbon to represent autism awareness. Net proceeds from sales of this wine go to autism research and intervention. Our idea is to create an excellent wine product people would enjoy that eventually would go national so we could contribute and collectively make a difference on this mysterious and debilitating condition.

Wonderful gift!
I bought 6 bottles of the Pinot Grigio to give to family and friends. Our grandson is autistic and it is wonderful that the wine is delicious and gives back to the Autism Community!
